Banhoek
Distance and Climbing options:

The ride can be started in Stellenbosch for the advanced rider that includes all Banhoek trails with return up Goddess and down The Dr trail. For maximum fun on the smooth trails it can be started at Banhoek Chilli oil.
The Banhoek Conservancy, nestled between Stellenbosch and the Drakenstein Mountains, offers a premier mountain biking experience with over 70 km of meticulously maintained singletrack trails that will put a smile on your face you won’t be able to wipe away for weeks! Renowned for its breathtaking scenery and expertly
crafted routes, Banhoek caters to riders of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned enthusiasts.

Jonkershoek Nature Reserve, located just outside Stellenbosch, is a premier destination for mountain biking enthusiasts. Managed by MTO Trails, the reserve boasts over 48 km of purpose-built singletrack and 74 km of jeep track, catering to riders of all skill levels—from beginners to seasoned professionals.

Situated at the foot of the Simonsberg Mountain between Paarl and Franschhoek, Plaisir Wine Estate offers superb mountain biking trails that winds through rolling foothills. It includes a purpose built flow trail. The connecting link to Boschendal has fantastic views where you will be spoiled with more fantastic trails on Boschendal wine estate that is the second oldest estate in the Cape region.
